China Gray in Gray

I'm so excited to get Chinese and I order sweet and sour chicken meal with fried rice.... I got home and looked at it and I had rice and 11 chicken fingers...and who orders 11 chicken fingers??

Order combination fried rice and lo mein, meats and shrimp were honestly nonexistent. Ordered orange chicken and it taste like orange peanut sauce, weird flavor. I can't understand how these places stay in business. To me this place is a one timer, obviously quality Chinese food can only be found in Portland.

Good Chinese. Expensive, portions are not huge

This was the best food ever! I discovered this amazing restaurant last week I'm not from the area but it's worth the 20 minute drive! I had it for Christmas Eve last night again and have so much leftovers, it's just as delicious the next day. Good quality, cooked perfect, very nice service, they care about the food they make. I suggest the pork fried rice as a side I've had the sweet and sour chicken, and general tsos chicken so far and it's the best, I'm going to drive up again for New Years and probably try the orange chicken this time!

Food and service are great

I have been going for years here to get my Chinese fix. It was always worth the price for the portions we got. In some recent visits though we found that the portion sizes have decreased while prices have started to increase. We also haven't dined inside for some time, the environment wasn't as inviting as it had once been, maybe it's the outdated decor or the feeling of needing a shower when you leave

Best lo mein in Maine, I’ve been to so many Chinese restaurants in Maine that don’t know how to make lo mein, so glad I found this place.

Best Chinese food EVER!!!!! When we want Chinese food, this is where we go! You get spool much food for the price you pay and it tastes amazing and the owners are the best! Sloop polite! I cannot say enough about here - you must go!!!!!

It's huge servings of delicious Chinese food! Far superior to China Village!

Nice staff but the food isn't that great

Misunderstanding when ordering....wasn't what I wanted...they did fix it. Hot and sour soup isn't great. Egg roll was good.

Decent food at decent prices. Very clean compared to some of the other hole in the wall places the State of Maine has to offer.

Great food,best rice ive ever had not all mooshy and liquidity like place down street,general tsos is fantastic has plenty of sauce and has the perfect crunch while the place down the street(china village)is soggy and barely uses sauce and has a microwaved texture to it,great people,great price 20-30 bucks feeds the 2 kids,the wife and my self and we are always full,not the best for dinning in so i suggest take out but id rather have good quality food take out than eat in but eat garbage,crab ragoons are great,the only problem with this place is that the food is to good and they give you to big of servings so you eat so much.you get sick,best in town!!

Amazing food, great value. Don't let the looks of the dinning room fool you, the food is awesome. The decor could really use some help, but 90% of the people do take out. We live 45 mins away in a town with 10 chinese places and still get food at China Gray

The best General Tso chicken in the southern maine area made with all white meat and a light and crispy breading. Prices are good for the portions you receive. I can feed my two little kids, me and my husband on one meal - if we don't want left overs but that never happens !-)

Great food, nice staff. Got the wrong item tonight, (chicken teriyaki instead of beef teriyaki) called them up and they had me come swap it out for the right stuff with no problem!

Lots of food per dish and it was very tasty. I like to judge based on the hot-and-sour soup too, of which they did not disappoint. It was an added bonus that the food wasn't expensive.

This is my go to take-out place. Food is great and I never have to wait for my food when picking up! General Tso and Dumplings are my favorites.

BEST PLACE EVER!!!! awesome gf options and friendly service. Giant portions my whole family (2adults 4kids) can eat here for 40$ with left overs! The owners are often there on site to help whenever they can. They are incredibly accomodating with the menu and work hard to please and satisfy their customers. They also work hard cater to food allergies. Such a great place!

Dry chicken, dry pork, and almost inedible teriyaki. Avoid.

We love the General Tso's Chicken. One order is enough food for two. Great food, great value. Not what you would call a good dining set up. I recommend take out.

The food is consistently good. The portions are humongous, so bring your appetite or plan on eating it for a couple of meals. Always excellent friendly service. I routinely travel from Freeport to bring dinner back and the food is always hot when Inger home.
